The OPA627 and OPA637 Difet operaTIonal amplifiersprovide a new level of performance in a precisionFET op amp. When compared to the popular OPA111op amp, the OPA627/637 has lower noise, lower offsetvoltage, and much higher speed. It is useful in a broadrange of precision and high speed analog circuitry.The OPA627/637 is fabricated on a high-speed, dielectrically-isolated complementary NPN/PNP process. Itoperates over a wide range of power supply voltage—±4.5V to ±18V. Laser-trimmed Difet input circuitryprovides high accuracy and low-noise performancecomparable with the best bipolar-input op amps.High frequency complementary transistors allow increasedcircuit bandwidth, attaining dynamic performancenot possible with previous precision FET opamps. The OPA627 is unity-gain stable. The OPA637is stable in gains equal to or greater than five.Difet fabricaTIon achieves extremely low input biascurrents without compromising input voltage noiseperformance. Low input bias current is maintainedover a wide input common-mode voltage range withunique cascode circuitry.The OPA627/637 is available in plasTIc DIP, SOICand metal TO-99 packages. Industrial and militarytemperature range models are available.
