PIC12C508 and PIC12C509 are 8-bit microcontrollers packaged in 8-lead packages. They are based on the Enhanced PIC16C5X family. High-Performance RISC CPU:• Only 33 single word instrucTIons to learn• All instrucTIons are single cycle (1ms) except for program branches which are two-cycle• OperaTIng speed: DC - 4 MHz clock input DC - 1ms instrucTIon cycle
The PIC12C5XX series fits perfectly in applicationsranging from personal care appliances and securitysystems to low-power remote transmitters/receivers.The EPROM technology makes customizing applicationprograms (transmitter codes, appliance settings,receiver frequencies, etc.) extremely fast and convenient.The small footprint packages, for through hole orsurface mounting, make this microcontroller series perfectfor applications with space limitations.
