LM1202 230 MHz Video Amplifier SystemGeneral DescripTIonThe LM1202 is a very high frequency video amplifier systemintended for use in high resoluTIon monochrome or RGBcolor monitor applicaTIons. In addiTIon to the wideband videoamplifier the LM1202 contains a gated differential inputblack level clamp comparator for brightness control, a DCcontrolled attenuator for contrast control and a DC controlledsub contrast attenuator for drive control. The DCcontrol for the contrast attenuator is pinned out separatelyto provide a more accurate control system for RGB colormonitor applications. All DC controls offer a high input impedanceand operate over a 0V to 4V range for easy interfaceto bus controlled alignment systems. The LM1202 operatesfrom a nominal 12V supply but can be operated withsupply voltages down to 8V for applications that require reducedIC package power dissipation characteristics.
