LM1204 150 MHz RGB Video Amplifier SystemGeneral DescripTIonThe LM1204 is a triple 150 MHz video amplifier systemdesigned specifically for high resoluTIon RGB video displayapplicaTIons. In addiTIon to three matched video amplifiers,the LM1204 contains a DC operated contrast control, a DCoperated drive control for each amplifier, and a dual clampingsystem for both brightness control and video blanking.The LM1204 also contains a back porch clamp pulse generatorwhich is activated by an externally supplied gH/HVsync signal or by an external composite video signal. ThegH/HV sync input will have priority over the composite videoinput. A single bH/HV sync output is provided for theautomatically selected sync input signal. The back porchclamp pulse width is user adjustable from 0.3 ms to 4 ms.The LM1204 video output stage will directly drive mostHybrid or discrete CRT amplfier input stages without theneed for an external buffer transistor.
