Meanwhile， features such as flexible form-factor， color control and dimmability add an aesthetics dimension that can also promote passenger comfort and well-being.
Aircraft cabin lighting developed by European systems house， Diehl Aerospace， supplier for the Boeing 787 among other platforms， combines LEDs in strip form to replace fluorescent tubes for area lighting， user controllable spotlights for reading， discreet lights for bathrooms， and special lighting effects for entrances and lounge areas.
