The EL2160 is a current feedbackoperaTIonal amplifier with -3dBbandwidth of 130MHz at a gain of +2.Built using the Elantec proprietary monolithiccomplementary bipolar process, this amplifier uses currentmode feedback to achieve more bandwidth at a given gainthan a convenTIonal voltage feedback operaTIonal amplifier.The EL2160 is designed to drive a double terminated 75Ωcoax cable to video levels. DifferenTIal gain and phase areexcellent when driving both loads of 500Ω (<0.01%/<0.01°)and double terminated 75Ω cables (0.025%/0.1°).The amplifier can operate on any supply voltage from 4V(±2V) to 33V (±16.5V), yet consume only 8.5mA at any supplyvoltage. Using industry-standard pinouts, the EL2160 isavailable in 8-pin PDIP and SO packages, as well as a 16-pinSO (0.300”) package.
