The MCP41XX and MCP42XX devices offer a wide range of product offerings using an SPI interface. WiperLock Technology allows applicaTIon-specific calibraTIon setTIngs to be secured in the EEPROM.
The MCP41/424X devices are non-volaTIle， 7-bit （129 wiper steps） digital potentiometers with EEPROM and an SPI compatible interface. The MCP41/42XX family is available with end-to-end resistor values of 5KΩ， 10KΩ， 50kΩ and 100KΩ。 These devices offer WiperLock™ Technology which allows the user unlimited reprogramming and locking of the wiper setting. It is useful for equipment that requires factory trimming or recalibration. The MCP41/42XX devices offer a variety of configurations simplifying design while minimizing cost， package size and pin count.
