Employing complementary MOS (CMOS) transistors toachieve wide power supply operating range, low power consumption,and high noise margin, the CD4070BM/BC andCD4077BM/BC provide basic functions used in the implementationof digital integrated circuit systems. The N- andP-channel enhancement mode transistors provide a symmetricalcircuit with output swing essentially equal to thesupply voltage. No DC power other than that caused byleakage current is consumed during static condition. All inputsare protected from damage due to static discharge bydiode clamps to VDD and VSS.
