The EL1520 is a combinaTIon of a verylow power line driver and low very lownoise receiver designed for centraloffice and customer premise line driving for DMT ADSLsoluTIons. The driver features a high drive capability of360mA and a ±5 to ±12V supply range. This driver achievesa typical distorTIon of less than -75dBc, at 1MHz into a 50Ωload. The receiver achieves ultra low voltage and currentnoise specificaTIons of 1.9nV/√Hz and 1.1pA/√Hz. Thistransceiver is optimum for very low power dissipationapplications using active termination techniques. EL1520 isavailable in the 20-pin TSSOP-EP (with exposed pad)package as well as a 24-pin LPP package. Both arespecified for operation over the full -40°C to +85°Ctemperature range.The EL1520 has separate supply pins for the driver andreceiver sections. This allows optimization of the supplyvoltages for each function at minimal power dissipation.
