ATS177 is an integrated Hall effect latched sensordesigned for electronic commutaTIon of brush-lessDC motor applicaTIons. The device includes anon-chip Hall voltage generator for magneTIc sensing,a comparator that amplifies the Hall voltage, and aschmitt trigger to provide switching hysteresis fornoise rejecTIon, and open-collector output. Aninternal bandgap regulator is used to providetemperature compensated supply voltage forinternal circuits and allows a wide operating supplyrange.If a magnetic flux density larger than threshold Bop,DO is turned on(low). The output state is held untila magnetic flux density reversal falls below Brpcausing DO to be turned off (high).
