The LT137H series are adjustable 3-terminal negaTIvevoltage regulators capable of supplying in excess-1.5Aover a -1.2 to -37Voutput voltage range.They are excepTIonally easy to use and require onlytwo external resistors to set the output voltage. Further,both line and load regulaTIon are better thanstandard fixed regulators. Also, LM137 regulatorsare supplied in standard transistor packages whichare easily mounted and handled. In addiTIon tohigher performance than fixed regulators, theLM137 series offer full overload protection availableonly in integrated circuits. Included on the chip arecurrent limit, thermal overload protection and safearea protection. All overload protection circuitry remainsfully functional even ifthe adjustment terminalis disconnected.
