The pulse burst repetition rate isdecoded by filtering to select between different transmittingsystems, and the number of pulses in a burst form acommand. It is easy to design pulse burst systems withdigital circuits, but the results are much better when analogcircuits are used because triangular and sinewaves fit thetheory much better. Also, triangular and sinewaves incurmuch less ringing and overshoot during transmission thandigital waveforms do.
