The Intersil ISL54214 is a single supply dual SP3T analogswitch that operates from a single supply in the range of 2.7Vto 4.6V. It was designed to mulTIplex between audio stereosignals and two different USB 2.0 high speed differenTIal datasignals. The audio channels allow signal swings belowground, allowing the mulTIplexing of the voice and data signalsthrough a common headphone connector in Personal MediaPlayers and other portable battery powered devices.The audio switch cells can pass ±1V ground referenced audiosignals with very low distorTIon (<0.03% THD+N when driving5mW into 32Ω loads). The USB switch cells have very low ONcapacitance (8pF) and high bandwidth to pass USB highspeed signals (480Mbps) with minimal edge and phasedistortion.The ISL54214 is available in a tiny 12 Ld 2.2mmx1.4mmultra-thin QFN and 12 Ld 3mmx3mm TQFN packages. Itoperates over a temperature range of -40 to +85°C.
