The PTH05060W non-isolated powermodule is small in size but big on performanceand flexibility. Its high outputcurrent, compact footprint, and industryleadingfeatures offers system designersa versaTIle module for powering complexmulTI-processor digital systems.This product employs double-sidedsurface mount construcTIon and provideshigh-performance step-down powerconversion for up to 10 A of output currentfrom a 5-V input bus voltage. Theoutput voltage is adjustable and can be setto any value over the range, 0.8 V to 3.6 V,using a single resistor.This series includes Auto-Track™Sequencing. Auto-Track simplifies thetask of supply voltage sequencing in apower system by enabling modules totrack each other, or any external voltage,during power up and power down.Other operaTIng features include anon/off inhibit, margin up/down controls,and the ability to start up into an existingoutput voltage or prebias. To ensure tightload regulation, an output voltage senseis also provided. A non-latching overcurrenttrip serves as load fault protection.Target applications include complexmulti-voltage, multi-processor systemsthat incorporate the industry’s high-speedDSPs, micro-processors and bus drivers.
