A newly integrated OrCAD schematic and library importfunction has been added to PADS Logic. In addition, this releaseintroduces the new Mentor Stardard Installer (MSI) which includes allproducts found in the PADS Flow. Save it to a known place.2- Install the programs by inserting the CD or running Setup.3- When asked, point to the generated license.txt in item 1.4- Select what you want to intall.5- NB.: PADS2005 SPac2 has been fully tested on Windows XP servicepack 2. When Windows XP service pack 2 is installed on a licenseserver, PADS end users may not be able to check out floatinglicenses from the license server. This happens because theWindows Firewall (Internet Connection Firewall or ICF) is turnedon by default. You must disable the firewall or setup thelmgrd.exe and mgcld.exe as exception processes, for floatinglicensing to work correctly.
