ISO165 and ISO175 are precision isolated instrumentaTIonamplifiers incorporaTIng a novel duty cyclemodulaTIon-demodulaTIon technique and excellent accuracy.A single external resistor sets the gain. Internalinput protection can withstand up to ±40V withoutdamage. The signal is transmitted digitally across adifferential capacitive barrier. With digital modulationthe barrier characteristics do not affect signal integrity.This results in excellent reliability and good highfrequency transient immunity across the barrier. Boththe amplifier and barrier capacitors are housed in aplastic DIP. ISO165 and ISO175 differ in frequencyresponse and linearity.These amplifiers are easy to use. A power supplyrange of ±4.5V to ±18V makes these amplifiers idealfor a wide range of applications.
