System architecture for audio signal processing in headsets
In this paper we describe an audio processing system whosearchitecture is opTImized for improving the quality of the audiosignal in headsets. This platform is an integral part of thearchitecture for advanced headsets. It provides the means toimplement various signal processing algorithms in wired andwireless headsets, including system control funcTIons. Theaudio processing system’s architecture and signal processingalgorithms are described, as well as two types of headsets inwhich the system is deployed. The performance of thealgorithms is also discussed.
