The LM5034 dual current mode PWM controller contains allthe features needed to control either two independentforward/acTIve clamp dc/dc converters or a single high currentconverter comprised of two interleaved power stages.The two controller channels operate 180° out of phasethereby reducing input ripple current. The LM5034 includes astartup regulator that operates over a wide input range up to100V and compound (bipolar + CMOS) gate drivers thatprovide a robust 2.5A peak sink current. The adjustabledead-TIme of the acTIve clamp gate drivers and adjustablemaximum PWM duty cycle reduce stress on the primary sideMOSFET switches. AddiTIonal features include programmableline under-voltage lockout, cycle-by-cycle currentlimit, hiccup mode fault operation with adjustable restartdelay, PWM slope compensation, soft-start, and a 2 MHzcapable oscillator with synchronization capability.
