The ADL5358 uTIlizes two highly linear doubly balanced passivemixer cores along with integrated RF and LO balancingcircuitry to enable single-ended operaTIon. The ADL5358incorporates two RF baluns allowing for opTImal main anddiversity mixer performance over a 500 to 1700 MHz RF inputfrequency range using high-side LO injecTIon for RFfrequencies between 500MHz to 1100MHz, and low sideinjection for RF frequencies between 1100MHz and 1700MHz.(For low side injection at RF Frequencies between 700MHz and1100 MHz, please contact the factory.) The balanced passivemixer arrangement provides good LO to RF leakage, typicallybetter than -25dBm, and excellent intermodulationperformance. The balanced mixer cores also provide extremelyhigh input linearity allowing the device to be used indemanding cellular applications where in-band blocking signalsmay otherwise result in the degradation of dynamicperformance. A high linearity IF buffer amps follow the passivemixer cores, to yield a typical power conversion gain of 8.5dB,and can be utilized with a wide range of output impedances.(For a higher IIP3 version of the dual mixer without the IFamplifiers, please contact the factory).
