The EL7563 is an integrated, full-featured synchronous stepdownregulator with output voltage adjustable from 1.0V to2.5V. It is capable of delivering 4A conTInuous current at upto 95% efficiency. The EL7563 operates at a constantfrequency pulse width modulaTIon (PWM) mode, makingexternal synchronizaTIon possible. Patented on-chipresistorless current sensing enables current mode control,which provides cycle-by-cycle current limiTIng, over-currentprotection, and excellent step load response. The EL7563features power tracking, which makes the start-upsequencing of multiple converters possible. A junctiontemperature indicator conveniently monitors the silicon dietemperature, saving the designer time on the tediousthermal characterization. The minimal external componentsand full functionality make this EL7563 ideal for desktop andportable applications.The EL7563 is offered in 20-pin SO and 28-pin HTSSOPpackages.
