The LM2694 Step Down Switching Regulator features all ofthe funcTIons needed to implement a low cost, efficient, buckbias regulator capable of supplying 0.6A to the load. Thisbuck regulator contains an N-Channel Buck Switch, and isavailable in the 3 x 3 thermally enhanced LLP-10 packageand a TSSOP-14 package. The feedback regulaTIon schemerequires no loop compensaTIon, results in fast load transientresponse, and simplifies circuit implementaTIon. The operatingfrequency remains constant with line and load variationsdue to the inverse relationship between the input voltage andthe on-time. The valley current limit results in a smoothtransition from constant voltage to constant current modewhen current limit is detected, reducing the frequency andoutput voltage, without the use of foldback. Additional featuresinclude: VCC under-voltage lockout, thermal shutdown,gate drive under-voltage lockout, and maximum dutycycle limiter.
