The AD7705/AD77061 are complete analog front ends for lowfrequency measurement applicaTIons. These 2-/3-channel devicescan accept low level input signals directly from a transducer andproduce serial digital output. The devices employ a Σ-Δconversion technique to realize up to 16 bits of no missing codesperformance. The selected input signal is applied to aproprietary, programmable-gain front end based around ananalog modulator. The modulator output is processed by an onchipdigital filter. The first notch of this digital filter can be programmedvia an on-chip control register, allowing adjustment ofthe filter cutoff and output update rate.
