DESCRIPTIONThe DG408L/409L are low voltage pin-for-pin compaTIblecompanion devices to the industry standard DG408/409 withimproved performance.Using BiCMOS wafer fabricaTIon technology allows theDG408L/409L to operate on single and dual supplies. Singlesupply voltage ranges from 3 to 12 V while dual supplyoperaTIon is recommended with ± 3 to ± 6 V.The DG408L is an 8 Channel single-ended analogmultiplexer designed to connect one of eight inputs to acommon output as determined by a 3 bit binary address (A0,A1, A2). The DG409L is a dual 4 Channel differential analogmultiplexer designed to connect one of four differentialinputs to a common dual output as determined by its 2 bitbinary address (A0, A1). Break-before-make switching actionto protect against momentary crosstalk between adjacentchannels.The DG408L/409L provides lower on-resistance, fasterswitching time, lower leakage, less power consumption andhigher off-Isolation than the DG408/409.
